Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Shunter Driver to join TATA Steel at its Shotton site. This site-based role involves vehicle movements across the site, including vehicle pick-ups and drop-offs, with a weekly rotation between day and night shifts.
The role also involves driving and operating a gully sucker wagon, emptying septic tanks and tipping off waste.
What We Offer
Daily pay of £132.61.
Overtime paid at £20.72 per hour.
Weekly attendance bonus of £23.04.
Temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with potential for long-term employment.
On-site interview.
Pre-start drug and alcohol testing.
Key Duties
Carry out on-site vehicle shunting across the Shotton site.
Drive and operate a gully sucker wagon, emptying septic tanks and tipping off waste.
Operate vehicles safely and efficiently.
Work within a weekly rotating day and night shift pattern.
Maintain high safety and operational standards at all times.
Requirements
Previous HGV driving experience is preferred but not essential; expired licences will be considered.
A full UK driving licence is required.
Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.
A reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach.
Shift Pattern
Day shifts: 7am-5pm.
Night shifts: 6:30pm-4:30am.
Weekly rotation between day and night shifts.
