Production Machine Operative | Machine Operator | Manufacturing Operative

Chard | £12.71 per Hour | 6:45am-5pm | Monday-Thursday | 39 Hours per Week | Temporary

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Production Machine Operatives to join a successful and growing manufacturing business in Chard.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term temporary role with a company that values its employees, provides full training and offers the chance to develop valuable manufacturing and machine-operating skills.

What We Offer

  • £12.71 per hour.

  • Monday to Thursday working pattern.

  • 6:45am-5pm working hours.

  • 39-hour working week.

  • Three-day weekend every week.

Key Duties

  • Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and consistent output.

  • Use hand-held tools and manufacturing equipment safely and effectively.

  • Carry out quality inspections to maintain high product standards.

  • Perform basic machine adjustments and report faults when necessary.

  • Work to production schedules and meet daily targets.

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the production area.

  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company guidelines.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within manufacturing, production, factory, warehouse or machine-operating environments would be advantageous.

  • Comfortable using hand-held tools and machinery.

  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

  • Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining a safe working environment.
