Acorn by Synergie's client, a family-run business that has been one of the UK's leading suppliers of professional safety equipment for over 25 years, has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Representative to join a fast-paced and diverse team.

This position will be supporting clients across the Cardiff and South West region, so it will involve regular travel and occasional overnight stays.

The role will be focused on developing fixed gas detection sales across the territory, managing existing opportunities and generating new business. The successful candidate will need to have a strong technical background and be confident carrying out site surveys for fixed gas detection installations and servicing requirements, which is a key part of the role.

Key Duties

• Develop fixed gas detection sales across the territory.

• Manage existing sales opportunities.

• Generate new business.

• Carry out customer site surveys.

• Conduct site surveys for fixed gas detection installations and servicing requirements.

• Build and develop existing customer accounts.

• Interact with customers and provide technical knowledge and support.

Requirements

• Technical sales experience

• Ability to carry out customer site surveys.

• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.

• Experience developing new and existing accounts.

• Previous experience with gas detector systems is advantageous.

• Experience with Intruder Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, Fire & Smoke, Emergency Lighting, Extinguishers, and Gates & Barriers will also be considered.

• Strong technical background.

• Willingness to travel regularly across Cardiff and the South West.

• Willingness to undertake occasional overnight stays.
