Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and friendly warehouse team in Willand.

This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity involving picking and packing, preparing goods for dispatch, stock handling and general warehouse duties. The role offers the opportunity to become permanent for candidates who demonstrate good attendance, reliability and a strong work ethic.

What We Offer
  • £12.71 per hour.
  • 39 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday, with no weekends.
  • 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday.
  • 8am-3:45pm Friday.
  • Temporary-to-permanent opportunity.

Key Duties
  • Pick and pack customer orders.
  • Prepare goods for dispatch.
  • Check, label and handle products.
  • Move stock safely around the warehouse.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
  • Follow health and safety procedures.
  • Work towards daily productivity and accuracy targets.
  • Support the wider warehouse team with general duties.
Requirements

Required:

  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking approach.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
  • Ability to follow instructions and warehouse procedures.
  • Availability to work Monday to Thursday, 8am-5pm, and Friday, 8am-3:45pm.

Advantageous:

  • Previous warehouse, picking, packing, production or logistics experience is advantageous, but full training is provided.
