Ilminster, Somerset | £15.87 per Hour | 6:30pm-4am | Monday-Thursday | Temporary to Permanent

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced FLT Driver to join a reputable and well-established manufacturing company in Ilminster, Somerset.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for a long-term role with the potential to secure permanent employment.

Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck, supplying production lines with materials and maintaining accurate stock movements.

What We Offer

Key Duties

  • Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck within a busy manufacturing environment.

  • Supply production lines with one-tonne containers to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.

  • Accurately manage stock movements using a computerised inventory system.

  • Maintain efficient material flow throughout the production facility.

  • Follow all company health and safety procedures and workplace standards.

  • Work effectively both independently and as part of the wider production team.

Requirements

  • Valid and up-to-date Counterbalance FLT Licence is essential.

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, warehouse or production environment.

  • Ability to undertake physically demanding work.

  • Reliable, hardworking and self-motivated approach.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
