Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced ADT Operator for a long-term position with a well-known industrial contractor in Port Talbot.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Articulated Dump Truck Driver with a background in steelworks, quarry or recycling environments. The role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

You will operate Articulated Dump Trucks (ADTs) safely and efficiently on a large-scale industrial site, supporting material movement and loading screens, crushers and trucks.

Key Duties

• Operate ADTs safely and efficiently.

• Move materials across the site.

• Load crushers, screens and trucks when required.

• Follow all site health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant ADT operating experience in a quarry, recycling or steelworks environment.

• CPCS or NPORS certification preferred; in-house licences also accepted.

• Valid CCNSG Site Safety Passport - essential.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical and substance test.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday.

• 7am-6pm approximately.

• Around 50 hours per week.
