Key Duties

• Work on a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders to limited companies.

• Prepare monthly and year-end accounts.

• Assist with both personal and corporate tax compliance.

• Manage VAT returns and bookkeeping tasks.

• Attend client meetings and handle day-to-day queries.

Requirements

• Ideally AAT qualified, although applications are welcomed from those with relevant experience but without formal qualifications.

• Good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word.

• Previous recent experience within an accountancy practice is essential.

• Experience at Technician or Semi-Senior level is preferred.

• Ability to work from the Barnstaple or South Molton offices in North Devon.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive client relationships.
