Lee Mill, Plymouth | £12.71 per hour | Monday-Wednesday, 8am-7pm / Thursday, 8am-4pm | 37.5 Hours per Week | Temporary to Permanent
You must have previous food production experience to be considered for this role.
Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a modern and busy manufacturing company in Lee Mill, Plymouth, looking for an experienced General Food Production Operative to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
As a General Production Operative, you will support different parts of line production such as labelling, packaging and ingredients handling.
What We Offer
£12.71 per hour.
37.5 hours per week.
Monday to Wednesday, 8am-7pm.
Thursday, 8am-4pm.
Temporary-to-permanent opportunity.
Key Duties
Ingredient Handling: Measure, weigh, mix, and feed raw ingredients into production lines or machinery.
Line Operation: Run, monitor, and adjust factory machinery or assembly equipment to meet production quotas.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products, check weights, spot defects, and ensure items match safety standards.
Packaging and Labelling: Pack food products safely into boxes, apply accurate labels, and prepare items for dispatch.
Hygiene and Cleanliness: Clean down equipment, sanitise workspaces, and maintain strict food safety and personal hygiene standards (HACCP compliance)
