Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR Driver for a leading client in Port Talbot.

You'll operate vacuum tankers and jetting units, providing essential site services as part of a small team of 3-5 operatives. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

The role involves occasional overnight stays away from home, with subsistence and travel time paid. There is also an opportunity for the position to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Duties

• Operate Class 2 HGVs, including vacuum tankers and jetting units.
• Carry out vacuum tanker and JetVac services safely and efficiently.
• Work as part of a small team to complete site operations.
• Complete daily vehicle defect checks and report any issues or near misses.
• Follow site safety procedures, risk assessments and required documentation.
• Take responsibility for assigned tasks and maintain high standards of attention to detail.
• Support wider site operations when required.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• Valid ADR licence.
• Valid CCNSG Site Safety Passport, or willingness to obtain one.
• Flexible and committed approach to work.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work away from home when required.
• Previous vacuum tanker or JetVac experience is desirable but not essential.
• Proactive approach and ability to work effectively as part of a small team.
