Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for Production Operatives, Manufacturing Operatives, Line Operatives and Factory Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team in Heathfield, Newton Abbot.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience working in a factory, production or manufacturing environment, particularly those with experience operating machinery. Previous food or drink manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Key Duties

• Operate the canning and production lines, including set-up and start-up.

• Carry out production and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.

• Complete production paperwork accurately and correctly.

• Clean the canning lines and production equipment to company standards.

• Identify and report machinery faults to the relevant department.

• Work closely with the Shift Supervisor to achieve daily production targets.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, quality and safety.

• Follow company procedures, health and safety requirements and production standards.

• Support the smooth and efficient running of the production process.

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a busy factory, production or manufacturing environment.

• Experience operating production or manufacturing machinery is highly beneficial.

• Previous food or drink manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.

• Good attention to detail and the ability to complete production paperwork accurately.

• Reliable, hardworking and committed approach to work.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.

• Willingness to learn new skills and complete full training.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Own transport may be required due to the location and shift patterns, particularly for early morning and night shifts where public transport may be limited.

Shift Patterns

We are currently recruiting for one Production Operative per shift:

• 6:00am - 2:00pm.

• 2:00pm - 10:00pm.

• 10:00pm - 6:00am.

Pay and Start Date

• £13.87 per hour.

• Heathfield, Newton Abbot.

• Full-time position.

• Immediate start available.

• Full training provided.
