Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Cleaner / Production Operative to join a busy food production facility in Ilminster.

This is a hands-on role combining cleaning, production, packing and food hygiene duties. It is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for flexible, ad-hoc work within a fast-paced food manufacturing and production environment.

Key Duties

• Maintain cleanliness across production and warehouse areas.

• Clean equipment, workstations and production areas.

• Follow site hygiene and food safety procedures.

• Support production and packing activities as required.

• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.

• Pack products accurately and efficiently.

• Report any quality, hygiene or safety concerns.

• Ensure work areas remain clean, organised and safe at all times.

• Follow all Health & Safety and food hygiene regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning, production, warehouse or manufacturing is beneficial.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking approach.

• Good communication skills.

• Positive attitude and strong team ethic.
