Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Production Operatives to join Howmet Aerospace, a global leader in engineered metal products for the aerospace, defence, and transportation industries, based in Exeter.

Key Duties

• Prepare aerospace components for despatch.
• Use hand tools and carry out manual machining tasks.
• Follow quality control procedures and engineering specifications.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Work within one of the following departments:Monoshell.
• Pre-Finishing.
• Finishing.
• Support production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organised.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, production, factory, engineering, or industrial experience is preferred but not essential.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial environment.
• Flexible and willing to work a rotating shift pattern.

Working Hours & Pay

• £15.93 per hour (paid breaks included).
• Up to £2,600 per month (gross).
• Monday to Friday.
• Rotating shifts:
  • 6am-2pm.
  • 2pm-10pm.
• Regular overtime opportunities available.
