Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced CNC Punch Press Operator to join a large, well-established sheet metal manufacturer based in the Belliver area of Plymouth.

Key Duties

• Operate CNC punch press machines to produce high-quality sheet metal components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Set and adjust machine parameters as required.
• Carry out quality inspections to ensure components meet specification.
• Work to production targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating CNC punch press machinery.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working continental night shifts, including weekends.

Shift Pattern & Pay

• £21.38 per hour.
• Continental night shifts: 7pm-7am.
• Two-week rotating shift pattern, including weekends.
• Overtime opportunities available.
• Performance-related bonus scheme.
