GMP Cleaning Operative | Manufacturing Cleaning Operative | Production Cleaner

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a GMP Cleaning Operative to carry out GMP-compliant cleaning of manufacturing equipment and production areas.

This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of safety, quality and contamination control within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will clean production equipment and manufacturing areas while following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.

Hours

• 38 basic hours per week.

• Overtime is available.

Key Duties

• Clean production equipment and manufacturing areas in line with SOPs and work instructions.

• Assemble and disassemble equipment safely for cleaning.

• Comply with GMP, Health & Safety, PPE and environmental requirements.

• Complete cleaning documentation accurately in line with ALCOA data integrity principles.

• Inspect equipment to ensure cleanliness and production readiness.

• Report any defects, deviations or non-conformances.

• Maintain high housekeeping standards and ensure the correct storage of cleaning materials.

• Monitor cleaning stock levels.

• Support production changeovers and scheduled deep cleans.

Requirements

• Good written and spoken English.

• Strong attention to detail with an analytical and methodical approach.

• Reliable and proactive approach to work.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic mechanical aptitude.

• Good level of health and fitness for working in an indoor manufacturing environment.
