Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Food Production Operatives to join a well-established, family-run food manufacturing company based in Kingsteignton, Newton Abbot.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Food Production Operatives, Food Manufacturing Operatives, Production Operatives, Factory Operatives, Packing Operatives, Food Factory Workers and Warehouse Operatives looking to join a friendly and supportive manufacturing team.

Whether you already have experience in food production, food manufacturing, factory work or warehouse operations, or you're looking to start a career within the food manufacturing industry, full training will be provided. This role offers ongoing work with genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position.

Key Duties

• Handle meat products throughout the food production process.
• Pack finished food products ready for dispatch.
• Pick, prepare and fulfil customer orders accurately.
• Complete production paperwork and production records.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, food safety and product quality.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and customer deadlines.
• Follow all Health & Safety, food hygiene and manufacturing procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, organised and compliant with hygiene standards.
• Work collaboratively as part of a busy food production and manufacturing team.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Food Production Operative, Production Operative, Food Manufacturing Operative, Factory Operative, Packing Operative, Warehouse Operative or in a similar manufacturing role would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Comfortable handling meat products throughout the production process.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and Health & Safety procedures is advantageous.
