In addition to on-site training, there may be opportunities for further classroom-based learning and professional development.

Key Duties

  • Assist in carrying out dimensional and visual inspections of components and finished products.

  • Identify defects and report non-conforming products.

  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions.

  • Develop the ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.

  • Learn about tolerances and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.

  • Accurately record inspection results and measurements.

  • Assist with quality documentation, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).

  • Maintain inspection records in accordance with company procedures.

  • Work closely with production and quality teams to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Support initiatives aimed at reducing defects and improving manufacturing processes.

Requirements
  • Basic technical education or engineering-related qualifications.

  • ONC, HNC, NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent vocational qualifications are desirable but not essential.

  • Strong numerical and mathematical skills.

  • Good mechanical aptitude and interest in engineering.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to follow procedures and work accurately.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and develop within a manufacturing environment.

  • Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering, production, assembly, or quality environments would be advantageous but is not essential.

What We Offer
