Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Deburrers to join a leading aerospace manufacturer in South Molton.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Deburrers, Production Operatives, Manufacturing Operatives, or Engineering Operatives, as well as candidates with strong manual dexterity looking to develop specialist skills within the aerospace industry. Full training is provided, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Key Duties

• Remove rough edges, burrs, and imperfections from precision-engineered components.
• Finish aerospace components to specification using hand tools and specialist equipment.
• Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet strict aerospace standards.
• Work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and company procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.

Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good manual dexterity and the ability to carry out precise finishing tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to strict quality standards.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Previous experience in a Deburring, Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, or Assembly role is beneficial but not essential.
• Experience with hobbies requiring precision, such as model making, woodworking, jewellery making, sewing, painting, crafting, or mechanical repairs, would be advantageous.

Working Hours

Rotating early and late shifts:

Early Shift

• Monday to Thursday: 6am-2pm.
• Friday: 6am-11am.

Late Shift

• Monday to Thursday: 2pm-10pm.
• Friday: 11am-4pm.
