Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Night Production Machine Operators to join the production team at Harrier in Newton Abbot.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop new skills and build experience in a busy production environment.

No previous machine operating experience is required - full training will be provided.

You'll be trained to operate one of the production machines within the warehouse, helping to keep the production process running smoothly while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor a production machine within the warehouse.

• Learn how to safely and efficiently run your assigned machine.

• Monitor the production process and report any issues.

• Check finished products for quality and defects.

• Remove damaged or defective products when required.

• Sort products according to brand requirements.

• Read and follow batch sheet information.

• Operate stacking equipment where required.

• Move and handle products safely.

• Keep your work area clean, tidy and safe.

Requirements

No previous machine operating experience is needed - full training is provided.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, hardworking and punctual.

• Keen to learn and develop new skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

• Comfortable standing for long periods.

• Physically capable of lifting and handling heavier items.

• Accurate with a good eye for detail.

• Able to follow instructions and work independently.

• Positive, flexible and willing to learn.

• A good team player.

Hours of Work

Training: Sunday to Thursday, 10:30pm-7am.

Following training, you will move onto a team working a 3 nights on, 3 nights off shift pattern, with shifts running 7pm-7am.
