Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of a market-leading manufacturer supplying precision components to the aerospace industry, based on the outskirts of Bridgwater.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a clean, modern manufacturing facility where you'll support the production, assembly and finishing of high-specification aerospace components.

Full training is provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates with previous production, manufacturing or machine operating experience, as well as those looking to start or develop a career within aerospace manufacturing.

What We Offer

• £14.63 per hour.
• Monday to Friday working.
• Rotating shift pattern:
• 6am-2pm
• 2pm-10pm
• Temporary to permanent opportunity.
• Immediate starts available.
• No weekend working.
• Overtime opportunities once fully trained.
• Full training provided.
• Opportunity to progress into specialist production departments.
• Potential for permanent employment following successful probation.

Key Duties

• Operate production machinery and supporting equipment following full training.
• Use hand tools to complete production and assembly tasks.
• Assist with the assembly and finishing of aerospace components.
• Work across different production departments as required.
• Follow production processes and work instructions accurately.
• Carry out tasks to required quality standards.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a team to maintain production efficiency.
• Adapt to changing priorities and learn new production processes.

Requirements

• Previous production, manufacturing or machine operating experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Good manual dexterity and confidence using hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow instructions and established production processes.
• Reliable and motivated approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexible approach and willingness to learn new skills.
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
