Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Yard Operative to join a busy operation in Lambourn.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Yard Operative, Yard Assistant, Yard Labourer, Loading Operative, Warehouse Operative, or General Operative looking for ongoing work, full training, and the potential to secure permanent employment.

Working as part of a busy yard team, you will help ensure vehicles are loaded and unloaded efficiently while maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

What We Offer

• £13.75-£17.00 per hour PAYE.
• £17.00-£21.00 per hour Umbrella PAYE.
• Minimum 8 hours' pay guaranteed daily.
• Monday to Friday working pattern.

Key Duties

• Assist with deliveries, unloading, and loading vehicles in the Lambourn yard.
• Carry out manual handling duties safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the yard.
• Assist with general yard duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment is desirable.
• Experience with manual handling.
• Good knowledge of safe working practices.
• Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Hours & Pay

• Monday to Thursday: 7am-5pm.
• Friday: 7am-3:30pm.
• £13.75-£17.00 per hour PAYE.
• £17.00-£21.00 per hour Umbrella PAYE.
• Minimum 8 hours' pay guaranteed daily.
