Acorn by Synergie is recruiting CNC Millers on behalf of Honeywell Aerospace in Yeovil.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CNC Millers, CNC Machinists, CNC Milling Operators, Precision Engineers, and Aerospace CNC Operators to join a world-leading aerospace manufacturer producing precision-engineered components to the highest industry standards.

Key Duties

• Carry out CNC programming, setting, and machining of aerospace components.
• Manufacture precision-engineered parts to detailed engineering specifications.
• Operate in accordance with OCQ (Operator Control of Quality) procedures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately.
• Follow established process layouts and documentation procedures.
• Carry out in-process inspections and quality checks.
• Ensure completed work meets aerospace quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Work safely and efficiently in line with company health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a CNC Miller within aerospace, precision engineering, or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Understanding of quality control procedures and inspection processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled engineering team.

Shift Patterns

Night Shift

• Sunday: 10pm-7am.
• Monday to Thursday: 12am-7am.

Days / Late Swing Shift

Days

• Monday to Thursday: 7am-3:30pm.
• Friday: 7am-1pm.

Lates

• Monday to Thursday: 3:30pm-12am.

Weekend Shift

• Saturday and Sunday.
• 7am-7pm (12-hour shifts).
