Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Night Hygiene Operative to join a growing team based in Ilminster.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Hygiene Operative, Industrial Cleaner, Food Production Hygiene Operative or Cleaning Operative who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety within a busy production environment.

Key Duties

As a Night Hygiene Operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out thorough cleaning and sanitising of production and packing areas.

• Washing down production machinery and equipment in line with hygiene and food safety procedures.

• Cleaning drains, floors, walls and other designated areas to maintain site cleanliness.

• Operating power washers and other cleaning equipment safely and effectively.

• Following cleaning schedules, hygiene standards and health & safety procedures at all times.

• Ensuring equipment, machinery and workspaces meet the required hygiene standards before production resumes.

• Working closely with colleagues and supervisors to support operational requirements and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

We're looking for candidates who have:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.

• The ability to follow cleaning procedures and health & safety guidelines.

• Confidence working with cleaning chemicals and power washing equipment.

• Good communication skills.

• A reliable approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Previous experience within hygiene, industrial cleaning or food production environments is desirable but not essential.
