Production Line Feeding Operative

Plymouth | £13.84 per hour | Rotating Shifts (2 weeks: 6:00am - 2:00pm / 2 weeks: 2:00pm - 10:00pm) | Temporary to Permanent

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a modern, busy, and growing organisation for an experienced Production Line Feeding Operative to join their manufacturing team in Plymouth.

As a Production Line Feeding Operative, you will support production and assembly lines by supplying raw materials, components, and parts. Your primary goal will be to prevent downtime, maintain a smooth and continuous workflow, and ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety and quality standards.

Key Duties

• Supply production and assembly lines with raw materials and components.

• Monitor stock levels and prepare materials (kits) for upcoming production jobs.

• Support machine operators by loading materials, clearing blockages, and assisting with changeovers.

• Check materials for damage or defects before use.

• Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items, bend, and stand for extended periods.

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in production line support, material handling, or stock replenishment is advantageous.

• Good understanding of health and safety procedures and quality standards.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

What We Offer

• £13.84 per hour.

• Rotating shifts:

  • 2 weeks: 6:00am - 2:00pm.

  • 2 weeks: 2:00pm - 10:00pm.
