Production Operative - 3-Shift Pattern (Mornings, Afternoons & Nights)

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of Howmet Aerospace, a global leader in engineered metal products for the aerospace, defence, and transportation industries. Key Duties

• Work within production departments including Alloy, Monoshell, and Cleaning / Pre-Finishing.
• Handle and pour molten alloy as part of casting processes.
• Operate high-pressure washing equipment and production machinery.
• Load furnaces and manage casting components in line with production schedules.
• Follow strict quality control procedures and safety standards at all times.
• Work in a physically active, industrial environment as part of a team.
• Maintain high levels of housekeeping and compliance with PPE requirements.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is preferred but not essential.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a hot environment.
• Flexible approach to working a rotating shift pattern (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am).
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
