Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Finishing Operative to join a busy manufacturing team.

This is a hands-on role where you will help produce high-quality finished metal components using a variety of finishing techniques and processes. The position would suit someone who enjoys practical work, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.

Previous manufacturing or finishing experience is beneficial, although full training can be provided for the right candidate.

Key Duties:

• Carry out finishing processes to achieve required quality and appearance standards.
• Use blasting, surface finishing, and abrasive treatment techniques.
• Follow established work instructions and production processes.
• Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality requirements.
• Support production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Handle materials and chemicals safely using the appropriate PPE.
• Report equipment faults or maintenance issues promptly.
• Work closely with production and quality teams.
• Assist with general production duties as required.
• Support wider business activities when needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.
• Work in line with company values, quality standards, and professional expectations.

Requirements:
