Production Operative - Ink/Print Manufacturing

Fordham, Newmarket | £13-£14 per hour | 4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm | Not specified | Temporary

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Production Operative with ink or print-based knowledge and experience to join a manufacturing company based in Fordham, Newmarket. This position is temporary for at least 2 months but may continue beyond this period, with an immediate start available.

Key Duties:

• Keep machines supplied with raw materials to ensure efficient operation.
• Recycle empty drums and waste products.
• Complete paperwork accurately.
• Operate machinery.
• Log stock in and out using a computerised system.
• Carry out general hygiene duties.
• Support the wider production team.

Requirements:

• Good manual handling skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous warehouse or production experience.
• Awareness of COSHH regulations.
• Previous chemical production experience advantageous.
