Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Material Handler Operator to join their client's busy scrap metal operation in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled operator to secure an immediate start with a reputable employer.

Key Duties:

• Operate material handling machines such as Sennebogen, Fuchs, or Liebherr.
• Safely move, sort, and process scrap and recycling materials.
• Conduct daily checks and basic maintenance on machinery.
• Work as part of a team to meet site productivity targets.

Requirements:

• Valid NPORS or CPCS qualification for wheeled 360 excavator operation.
• Proven experience operating material handlers in a recycling or scrap environment.
• Ability to work safely and follow site procedures.
• Reliable and punctual, able to work nights Monday-Friday.
