Site Operative

Shotton, North Wales | £13.65 per hour | 8am-4pm | Monday - Friday | Temporary to Permanent

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a reliable Site Operative to join a busy manufacturing site in Shotton, North Wales. The role involves supporting the safe operation of the site, bulk material handling, and assisting with waste removal and driving tasks.

Key Duties:

• Operate the facility safely in line with legislation, company policies, and client sustainability standards.
• Facilitate the discharge of waste material.
• Drive a skip wagon onsite, picking up and emptying skips.
• Drive and operate a gully sucker wagon onsite, emptying septic tanks and disposing of waste.
• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly inspections, housekeeping duties, and preventative maintenance.
• Record and report inspection and maintenance results.

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive approach to health, safety, and wellbeing.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Previous experience driving wagons is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with a range of people.
