Newport | £12.21 - £12.71 per hour | Monday - Wednesday, 8.30am - 5pm (or Monday and Tuesday if preferred) | Temporary | Part-time

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a Part-Time Payroll Administrator to join a team based in Newport. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and previous payroll experience who is seeking flexible part-time hours within a supportive working environment.

The successful candidate will assist with payroll administration, helping to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.

Key Duties

• Process payroll information accurately and in a timely manner.

• Maintain and update payroll records.

• Assist with calculating wages, deductions, and overtime where required.

• Respond to payroll-related queries from employees.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.

• Support the finance or accounts team with general administrative duties.

• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll information.

Requirements

• Previous payroll or payroll administration experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good organisational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Good communication skills.

What We Offer

• £12.21 - £12.71 per hour.

• Part-time working hours: Monday - Wednesday, 8.30am - 5pm, with flexibility to work Monday and Tuesday if preferred.
