Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is urgently recruiting HGV Class 1 Shunter Drivers for a busy trunking operation in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking regular weekday work, competitive pay, and long-term prospects in a modern logistics environment.

Key Duties

• Carry out Shunting around clients yard

• Complete nessecary trailer checks

• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable vehicle.

• Represent the company professionally at all times.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) licence.

• CPC and Digi Tacho card.

• Experience of shunting preferred, training can be provided

• Strong work ethic and reliable timekeeping.

What We Offer

• £18 per hour (PAYE).

• £21 per hour (UMB PAYE).

• Minimum 8 hours paid per shift.

• Start times between 4am and 6am.

• Monday to Friday work (no weekends).
