Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is partnering with a catering specialist based on-site in Newport to recruit a Kitchen Porter.

This is a Monday to Friday daytime role, offering stable hours between 6:30am and 3:30pm, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Key Duties

• Clean cutlery, crockery, utensils and kitchen equipment.

• Carry out general cleaning and kitchen support tasks as required.

• Ensure all cleaning is completed to a high standard.

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.

• Punctual and reliable with strong time management skills.

• Presentable appearance with high standards of personal hygiene.

• Able to understand and communicate in English at a working level (spoken and written).

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Calm and effective in a high-pressure environment.

• Flexible and willing to support additional duties where required.
