Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join a recycling and environmental services team covering the East Devon District. Reporting into Exmouth, this is a hands-on, outdoor role supporting maintenance operations across multiple locations.

Key Duties

• Grass cutting and strimming.

• Hedge pruning.

• Operate mechanical plant, tools, and vehicles, providing support across the district.

• Digging, bedding, planting, and watering.

• Hoeing and weeding.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence - essential.

• Previous experience in a manual or outdoor maintenance role.

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Physically fit with the ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting.

• Reliable, flexible, and self-motivated approach to work.

What We Offer

• Pay rate of £13.69 per hour.

• Day shift working pattern: 07:30-16:30 Mon-Wed, 07:30-16:00 Thu-Fri.
