Introduction

Our client, a well-established and growing surveying and project management consultancy based in Cardiff, is looking to appoint a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join their professional team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring Quantity Surveyor to begin or progress their career within a supportive consultancy environment, working across a varied portfolio of projects.

Key Duties

• Assisting with cost planning, estimates, and budgets.

• Supporting the preparation of tender documentation and procurement advice.

• Helping with valuations, cost reports, and final accounts.

• Liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants.

• Gaining exposure to projects across multiple sectors.

Full training, mentoring, and structured career development will be provided, with clear progression opportunities.

Requirements

• Currently completing a Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management degree, or

• A recent Quantity Surveying graduate looking to start their professional career.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

• Good communication and organisational abilities.

• A proactive and professional attitude.

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
