Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is working in partnership with Honeywell in Yeovil, Somerset and have opportunities for a Grinder to work on a full-time basis starting as soon as possible. The role involves grinding aerospace equipment using manual and CNC machinery while ensuring high-quality standards.

Key Duties:

• Perform internal and external grinding using MDI (Manual Data Input) CNC machinery, surface grinding, and thread grinding.

• Operate under OCQ - Operator Control of Quality procedures.

• Interpret engineering drawings, following process layouts and documentation procedures.

Requirements:

• Experience in grinding, ideally with aerospace equipment.

• Ability to operate MDI CNC machinery.

• Knowledge of surface and thread grinding techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.

What We Offer:

• Full-time, permanent position in Yeovil.

• Pay £18.99-£19.54 per hour depending on experience and shift.

• Day shifts: Monday to Thursday 7am-3:30pm, Friday 7am-12pm.

• Days / Late Swing Shift: Days Monday to Thursday 7am-3:30pm, Friday 7am-1pm; Lates Monday to Thursday 3:30pm-12am.
