Forklift and Refuse Operatives

Exeter| £12.92 per hour | 6am- 2.30pm | Days | Immediate Start

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Forklift and Refuse Operatives to join a recycling team in Exeter. This is a hands-on outdoor role working in all weather conditions, sorting recyclable materials, and assisting with general site and yard duties.

Key Duties:

• Collecting already sorted recycle refuse using forklift
• Loading refuse in to sifting and compacting machine using forklift
• Keeping domestic and commercial collection points clean and tidy.
• Assisting in maintaining a tidy local depot at all times.

Requirements:

• Forklift Counterbalance/B1 in date Licence Certificate
• Experience as a recycling operative or in a similar manual role
• Experience of working outdoors
• Physically capable of manual duties and heavy lifting
• Strong Team Work Ethic
• Reliable and able to work flexibly as required.
