Administrator - Internal Support

Barnstaple, Devon | Competitive | 8:30am - 5pm | Monday - Friday | Permanent


Introduction

Our client is seeking a motivated and organised Administrator to join their Internal Support team. Reporting to the Department Team Lead, this role involves providing efficient administrative support while delivering excellent customer service.


Key Duties:

  • Handling incoming calls and customer enquiries.

  • Assisting with delivery tracking, stock availability, and lead times.

  • Managing customer returns and processing credit notes.

  • Supporting Non-Conformance Reporting.

  • Assisting with quotations, sales and purchase order processing.

  • Processing customer payments.

  • Managing the department inbox.

  • Providing general administrative support, including data entry and document preparation.


Requirements:

  • Previous administrative experience.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Good attention to detail and numeracy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
