Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for experienced Oxy Burners to join a well-known Demolition Contractor in Port Talbot. This is a fantastic long-term contract opportunity offering stability, excellent working conditions, and the chance to work with a respected name in the industry.

The Role

You will be responsible for cutting and processing scrap metal using Oxy Propane equipment as part of a busy demolition and recycling operation.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience cutting scrap metal with Oxy Propane equipment.

• CCDO qualification desirable (or willingness to obtain).

• Previous experience working in a scrap or recycling environment.

• Good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the work.

• Full UK driving licence required.

• CCNSG Site Safety Passport (or ability to obtain one).

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday.

• 50 hours per week.

• Overtime may be required.
